Heather Freeman, Preschool Teacher

I grew up in North Haven, Connecticut and moved to Vermont to attend UVM in 1996 and earn a BS in Early Childhood Education.  I have been a preschool teacher for the district since 2004, and have worked at HES since 2006.  I love my job because I get to work with children on a daily basis.  The thing I like best about working at HES is the staff.  They are by far the friendliest group of people I have ever worked with!   I am a proud mother of two beautiful girls, Barrett and Logan. My husband, Mark, is having his first young adult, fantasy novel published this summer.  Friday nights are movie night for our family and our favorite movie to watch is The Incredibles.

Tammy Brown, Early Essentials Educator

I grew up in Craftsbury, Vermont and graduated from Craftsbury Academy in 1990. I have taken a variety of college classes and have an associates tegree in general studies. I started working in HES in 2006, and I am still excited to be here! My hobbies are reading and gardening! I am married and have one son, and we live in Wolcott, Vermont.
