I grew up in Connecticut and moved to the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont when I was in fourth grade where I lived on a long dirt road with no electricity. I went to Lamoille Union High School and then to The University of Vermont where I received a degree in Music Education and a degree in Clarinet Performance. 2007-2008 was my first year at HES and I love it here! A few more things about me: my favorite color is blue, my favorite fruit is lime, I make my own soda at home, I can touch my nose with my tongue and I enjoy singing loudly to Italian opera in the car, but I don't actually know or speak Italian. I have been to Denmark, Holland, Germany, France, Belgium, Mexico, Canada, Puerto Rico and many other places in the US. In the evenings you may find me fighting a losing battle with the squirrel that eats all of the birdfood!
